About QR Code Agent

A free QR code generator that does not want your email address.

What this is

QR Code Agent makes QR codes for links, WiFi networks, contact cards, menus, PDFs and social profiles. You can style the dots and finder patterns, set your own colors, drop a logo in the middle, and download a PNG or a print-ready SVG.

There is no account, no watermark, no trial, and no expiry date. You do not give an email address, and there is no upsell waiting three clicks in.

Why the codes never expire

Every code here is static. That means the destination is encoded directly into the pattern of the image — the code is the link, rather than a pointer to a redirect service that someone has to keep paying for.

This is the important difference between this tool and most "free" QR generators. A dynamic code routes through a third-party server, so it stops working the moment that service shuts down, changes its pricing, or decides your free trial is over. A static code has no such dependency. Print it once and it works for as long as the page it points to exists.

The trade-off is real and worth stating plainly: because the link is baked in, you cannot edit where a static code points after you download it. If the destination might change, point the code at a page you control and change the content on that page instead.

Nothing is uploaded

The generator runs entirely in your browser. The text you type, the WiFi password you enter, the contact details, and any logo you add are processed on your own device and never sent to a server. There is no copy of your code on our end, because there is no server involved in making it.

That is also why there are no scan counts or analytics dashboards for your codes: a static code does not report back to anyone, including us.

How it stays free

There is no cost to serve a static site, so there is no pressure to monetise you. There are no ads, no affiliate links, and nothing is sold.

If the tool saves you time, there is an optional coffee link in the header and footer. It is genuinely optional and nothing is gated behind it.

Who made it

Built by Myk Pono. If something is broken or a QR type is missing, the fastest way to reach me is LinkedIn — the link is in the footer.

About QR Code Agent FAQ

Is it really free?
Yes. No account, no watermark, no expiry, and no limit on how many codes you make.
Can I use the codes commercially?
Yes. The codes you generate are yours — use them on packaging, signage, menus, business cards, or anything else, including commercial work.
Can I edit a code after downloading it?
No. These are static codes, so the destination is fixed once downloaded. Point the code at a page you control if the destination may change.
